The Way I See It #175

I had this cup in my car, and I had to get closure by posting this before I threw it away...
"The world would be a boring place if everyone wore a size 2. I love being a size 22, just like I love a giant cup of hot chocolate with extra whipped cread. F.A.T. (Fabulous and Thick) folks know that it's the extras in life - like pounds, cash and love - that give us character. Embrace the extras baby!

Transition

Yes, it's true! I think I failed to blog this :P I have moved from Nashville, TN and am en route to Portland, Oregon. I will be interning with a ministry in Portland called, Portland Fellowship. This is part of what I feel God has called me to. I have tons more details to come and soon, joshcoy.com will be devoted to my travels and ministry in the coming year. Keep an eye out! I will keep you informed as stuff happens. I am currently in Ohio for 2 more weeks before I spend the last week in Oakland, CA with my dear friend Noe'. Your prayers are coveted.

When Sense it Doesn't Make

If a person is ever going to do anything worthwhile, there will be times when he must risk everything by his leap in the dark. In the spiritual realm, Jesus Christ demands that you risk everything you hold on to or believe through common sense, and leap by faith into what He says. Once you obey, you will immediately find that what He says is as solidly consistent as common sense.

Oswald Chambers

I feel like I am here. Now. I've got common sense blaring at me. I want what God wants, really, no matter what. Even when it makes zero common sense. These past few months have taken the idea of pros and cons and thrown it out the window. I can't always see the ramifications of my choices until I make them. So, I'm making choices, regardless of what I see. But I do indeed believe.
